Do Safe Channels For The Family Exist?
As a mother of two growing children, I find myself constantly worrying about what they might be watching on TV or exposed to online. And while I do my best to make sure that they are being smart about what they are watching, I still find myself worrying. This is especially true when it comes to television. To me, it seems like there are so many inappropriate shows on TV these days and it makes me nervous to think that my children could be watching this stuff and maybe even replicating what they see. For that reason, I have recently implemented some parental control devices in the TVs around our house. Still, I thought it would be nice if I could find out the real answer to my question “do safe channels for the family exist?”
So I decided to do a search for some family friendly channels in my area, and I found out about the ABC Family channel. I was really happy when I found this channel because it had all kinds of things, from sitcoms to movies. And they were all appropriate for my family. Now, when the family gets together to watch TV, this is the channel that we turn on.
